A sudden thunderstorm disrupts a satellite signal. A television screen image dissolves into a fluctuating matrix of   coloured pixels. There is a strange beauty to this digital maelstrom that mirrors an aspect of our modern lives and the things we consider to be real and permanent are subject to the same dissolution. Within the states of these digital meltdowns, the paintings search for moments of creative coalescence.
